• Entity Management Associate – Producer Credentialing

  • Overview


    Primary role is initiating, managing, coordinating and monitoring the appointment and contracting status of all levels of distribution partners for Southern Guaranty Insurance Company. Role will be responsible for process from start to finish with continued maintenance for compliance and new product or state implementation. Position to cross train with additional credentialing or licensing roles within Entity Management. 


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Initiate all contracting systematically for all distribution partners
    • Create and maintain required levels of hierarchy
    • Set up new users/recruiters in Producer Appointment Portal
    • Review background checks and provide to appropriate parties if additional review is required
    • Run, monitor and update monthly licensing reports from NIPR to Producer Appointment Portal
    • Monitor and update E&O Insurance requirements at both the entity and producer levels
    • Responds to any alleged compliance infractions
    • Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk
    • Collaborates with other departments and/or TPAs to accommodate imperative additions or deletions
    • Coordinate Government reporting and invoicing for appointments
    • Organize and maintain entity portfolios and corporate data
    • Maintain Licensing Database to track all licensing deadlines
    • Special projects as assigned

    Education and/or Experience:


    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Experience working with producer licensing/appointments/contracting for an agency or insurance company.

    Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook


    Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:


    Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
