Primary role is preparing, filing, managing, coordinating and monitoring the status of all Government-issued and/ or regulatory licenses, applications, reporting, and bonding for family of companies, and to ensure compliance of same. This role will be predominantly focused on insurance regulation.


  • Research procedures, interpret laws and statutes, and designate timelines for all licensing
  • Preparation and filing of all new company licensing where applicable
  • Monitoring and renewal of all company licenses currently in place
  • Renewal and update all Government-required bonding
  • Responds to any alleged compliance infractions or objections
  • Communicate and negotiate by telephone, letter, and in-person with regulatory agencies and trade associations on matters involving regulatory compliance
  • Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk
  • Collaborates with other departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, Clinical Compliance, Human Resources, etc.) to obtain or provide information or to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution
  • Develop and maintain effective formal and informal relationships with internal departments, subsidiaries, and third party administrators to enhance understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate Government Requests for Information Proposals for Care Management and other services
  • Manage and maintain Stockholder, Board of Directors and Executive Committee’s sensitive information
  • Organize and maintain entity portfolios and corporate data
  • Maintain Licensing Database to track all licensing deadlines
  • Marketing projects as needed
  • Special projects as assigned

  • Basic understanding of Governmental regulation practices
  • Basic understanding of Commercial (P&C) Insurance & Bonding
  • Must be capable of communicating with all levels of management
  • Must be capable of researching all new laws, statutes and regulations and comprehend same

 Education and/or Experience: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with Accident & Health and/or Property & Casualty Insurances required.

Computer Skills:


Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook


Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:


Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to repetitive motion such as typing, data entry and vision to monitor. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
